After two years without the Northwold carnival (and the last
one in 2010 having torrential rain all day!), it retuned this summer with some glorious weather to match, to be as successful as ever.
Thank you to the PTFA for all their hard work in organising and the endless amount of time they dedicated to getting this up and running for the benefit of the pupils at Norman CE Primary School. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped, set up and take down everything for the day, all the parents for helping with costumes and decorating the floats.
As always the there was endless cups of tea and cake on offer , ice cream, candy floss, hot food, drinks for the grown ups and a funfair, alongside lots of other stalls and activities for the children, including a demonstration by the local Fire Service.
There were hundreds of people in attendance and the grand total that was raised, I have been informed, was just over £4600. This was from stalls that were run and the generous donations given by local business and people. Again - we give thanks, it truly was a great day that brought the school, the local community and the PTFA together for the benefit of our pupils. Thank You.
